How to Use a Hair Topper:
Step 1: Determine the type of hair topper you will be using! Our hair toppers are all worn with clips. Before installation, wash and blow dry your natural hair, then use a wide-tooth comb to detangle. Divide your hair into two sections based on your preference, using hair clips to secure the remaining hair to ensure the topper area is clear and smooth.
Step 2: Place the front edge of the topper about 1-2 inches away from your hairline and secure it with hair clips. Smooth down the top of the clips to keep the base flat and snug against your head.
Step 3: Blend the topper with your natural hair using a comb or your fingers. Style as desired by curling or straightening.
How to Properly Remove a Hair Topper:
Step 1: Unclip all clips except the front one! Release all pressure-sensitive clips by “untying” your natural hair from the clips. We recommend removing the topper slowly to prevent pulling on your hair and causing hair loss.
Step 2: Unclip the front clip! Once all the other clips are unfastened, you can address the front clip. Gently lift the clip while removing it from your hair, and “peel off” the hair topper from front to back.
Step 3: Store the topper properly! Place the topper on a wig stand; when not in use, allow it to breathe while maintaining its shape.
